On The Newstand ....

Featuring 2 magazines as I did not get chance to post yesterday.

The first is a German magazine, Bild Woche, dated 8th March 1984, with the classic Alexis photo of Joan on the cover. Inside is a 1 1/2 page article about Dynasty.








The second magazine is Amor Film from France and was available 26 years before the one above, March 1958.
The cover features Joan from the film 'Island In The Sun' and a pictorial adaptation of the film across 18 pages.

After a "Blog" Break, its back into the archives with today's post which goes back to March 1958, and this magazine featuring Joan on the cover from the 1956 film "Island In The Sun" which co-starred Joan Fontaine, Dorothy Dandridge, James Mason, Michael Rennie, Harry Belafonte & Stephen Boyd.
This magazine featured the story of the film in pictures over 18 pages. Fragile as the magazine is now 52 years old, it is great to remind ourselves of the film with this article.
