Memorabilia Corner: Rally Round The Flag Boys

Featured today is a Window card from the comedy Rally Round The Flag Boys.

This one was purchased in unused condition as the blank space at the top was where the theatre put screening times and any other details.

Window cards will be displayed in the posters gallery on the website.

Daily Picture - Rally Round The Bathroom ....

Today's picture of Joan is a scene from the comedy, Rally Round The Flag Boys she made with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward in 1958.

NEW - Film Adverts

Recently while sorting through my collection, I came across this film advert for Rally Round The Flag Boys and thought it should be added to the site. These adverts appeared in magazines of the 1950's to 1980's including Films in Review, Photoplay, Film Review and Picturegoer, which is where I believe this one came from.

I went through some of these old publications and also found a seller on Ebay (thanks Ian!!) who deals in these and have recently purchased from him and will be adding those on the site very soon.

Mexican Lobby Cards

This is another recent addition to my collection of Mexican Lobby Cards. Who can forget Joan starring alongside Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward in the comedy Rally Round The Flag Boys or the Mexican title, "El Inconquistable Sexo Debil"?
This card is one of four I acquired, the others can be found on the website.

Rally Round The Flag Boys - Italian Style

Its back to the blog following a busy weeks absence, today I am featuring from my collection an Italian poster for the film Rally Round The Flag Boys which Joan made in 1958 with Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward and Jack Carson.

I'll feature other items from this film in future posts and on my website which is currently being updated.
