Daily Picture - Cinzano

Today's picture is a rare shot of Joan with Leonard Rossiter from the famous Cinzano Adverts, which were classic.

I have been working on the website since the weekend, updating the film pages which has not left much time for the daily blog.

Daily Picture - Care For A Cinzano?

Today I am featuring another photograph from the classic Cinzano commercials, this one was 'Roller Disco' and as usual Joan had the drink thrown down her front by Leonard.
They certainly don't make adverts like these anymore.

Back in May this year, I featured on the blog a Cinzano poster and mentioned I would post more from these wonderful adverts at a later date.



Here is a B&W photo of Joan with the late Leonard Rossiter from the Cinzano Bianco launch advert first shown in 1978.
For those who haven't seen this or any of the others, with the Cinzano in his hand, Leonard's character says "Ah Melissa darling, you're early (looking at watch)... would you like a Cinzano?
Her reply, "No thank you, I've just had one", (referring to the one he has spilt down the front of her dress).

Classic Comedy.

Cinzano Adverts

Cinzano adverts featuring Joan alongside the late great actor Leonard Rossiter were on our screens from 1978-1983. This is currently the only poster I have in the collection but stills and cuttings will feature at a later date.
