Over the years I have collected posters from many of Joan's films, including this Spanish one for 'The Girl In The Red Velvet Swing'.

Advert: Joan's Scoundrel

This advert is posted in response to a couple of e-mails I recently received from visitors to the site asking if I had anything relating to the Scoundrel perfume that Joan advertised for Revlon back in 1983.

Its back to 1985 for this post and a Canadian Magazine, Mariepier which featured Joan on the cover, and inside an article about secrets of 10 Hollywood stars.

This 1978 picture of Joan could have been the basis of a quote when she said, "And I kissed a lot of frogs as well, but no, I kissed a lot of frogs and now I've found my prince"

And we know that all fairy stories should have a happy ending ..................... well this one did for Joan

On the Newstand - 7th January 1989

In the archives today we go back 25 years to 1989 and this popular UK magazine (no longer in print) called Weekend.  Joan was featured on their cover at least 8 times between 1978 and 1989.
This cover which featured her Dynasty co-stars, John Forsythe and Linda Evans was a feature on the shake up of all US soap operas.
