DVD News - Dynasty Season 7
The wait is over!! Season 7 got it's UK release on 30th January 2012, which is good news for all Dynasty fans.
Having pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk back in December, I received mine this morning, so hot off the press are the details.
Season 7 picks up the end of the previous season, with Alexis (Joan Collins) in the clutches of Blake (John Forsythe) as in his rage at the thought of losing the Carrington mansion, he goes for the jugular and viewers were left wondering whether this time, he would kill his ex-wife? But Krystle (Linda Evans)intervenes and allows Alexis to live through the season, no doubt with a plan or two up her designer sleeve.
The Season contains all 28 episodes on 7 discs.
The picture on the left is from the 2 part episode "A Love Remembered", on Disc No 4.

Daily Picture: Too Damn Famous Flyer
This flyer was produced for the Austrian Book signing engagement at Lugner City Shopping Mall in February 1993.
Another Night With Joan !! - REVISED
"One Night With Joan" returns by popular demand to the Leicester Square Theatre from Wednesday 14th - Sunday 18th March 2012.
The artwork for both sides of the flyer is the same as the original October 2012 tour with the addition of BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND under Joan's name. Eagle-eyed bloggers please don't e-mail me when you notice that the synopsis on the reverse of this flyer has missed the proof reader and states "For two nights only", when infact Joan will be playing 6 shows including a matinee on the Sunday afternoon, which I will be attending myself. Tickets are on sale at the moment, I'm told this is a wonderful show and a chance to hear Joan share her life story. So book now to avoid disappointment. One question fans would like answering is "Joan, are there any plans to release the tour on DVD"?

Daily Picture - James Farentino and Joan
Thanks to the people who e-mailed me with news that James Farentino passed away Tuesday 24th January 2012. To my knowledge there had been nothing on the news or in the tabloids.
Dynasty fans will remember him as Dr Nicholas Toscanni in Dynasty (1982) as pictured below.
The second picture today from my collection is James as David Westfield when he appeared in the mini-series 'Sins' with Joan.
He also appeared in ER, Melrose Place, a TV Movie I own but have never seen, called The Naked Lie with Victoria Principal. In the 60's he appeared in Naked City, 77 Sunset Strip and Route 66.
From 1966 - 1982 he was married to the actress Michele Lee from Knot's Landing. Age 73 at the time of his death, he leaves 2 sons David and Saverio and his widow Stella. Our thoughts are with his family, RIP David.
