This rare photograph of Joan is from 1984 taken on the set of then breakfast TV show, TV-AM. Joan was being interviewed by journalist Eve Pollard. The guy Joan is looking at must be production crew.

CARTOONS

In March 2011 I featured a post about newspaper cartoons. Like most countries, the majority of English newspapers feature these daily, usually based on news articles or celebrities, and over the years whenever Joan had been in the press, it was guaranteed that she would not escape the cartoonist!!

This one, penned by Franklyn appeared in 'The Sun' newspaper. At the time Joan had met her new fiance, Peter Holm who was reportedly wanted by the Swedish authorities.


I have a number of these cartoons and will feature them under the newspaper section of my website.
