Daily Picture - The Opposite Sex

This black and white picture shows Joan with American actress Carolyn Jones on the set of the 1956 film, "The Opposite Sex".


In the film Carolyn played Pat, but was better known as Morticia Addams in the Addams Family.
Like Joan she also guest-starred in Batman as Marsha Queen of Diamonds (Season 2,episodes 57 & 58).
She was also married to Aaron Spelling for 11 years (1953-1964).

Daily Picture - I Believe In You - Harry Fowler

The obituary column of the Guardian has reported that the actor Harry Fowler died yesterday (4th January) at the age of 85.
The picture above shows him alongside Joan in "I Believe in You". In the film which also starred Celia Johnson, Laurence Harvey and Cecil Parker, he played a love interest to young Joan's character, Norma.

Daily Picture - Cosh Boy (1953)


Today's picture is Joan with co-star James Kenney from the 1953 film Cosh Boy Known as 'The Slasher' in the US and 'Le Voyou' it's French title. The film also starred Hermione Baddeley as Mrs Collins & Hermione Gingold as Queenie.
