Past In Photos: Joan with Celebrities

Today's Celebrity Photo is from 1987 and features Joan with Clint Eastwood taken at the All-Star Party for Joan Collins.

JConthecover: Coleccao Cinema (1956)

As Joan is currently in the UK, perhaps she would have seen that Land of The Pharoahs was shown on BBC2 today. Made in 1954, the film featured Jack Hawkins, and Sydney Chaplin.

Today's magazine is from Portugal and features Joan as Princess Nellifer and Jack Hawkins as the Pharoah on the cover and inside a 5 page adaptation of the film.

Visit my website for more photographs from the film.

Past In Photos: Joan With Celebrities

This is a new section on my blog, and features pictures of Joan with celebrities, starting with this one of her with Susan Sangster. Not sure of the exact date or venue.

JConthecover: Detroit Free Press (1991)

This American magazine from 1991 was one of many covers around at the time to promote the Dynasty Reunion special which tied up all the loose ends from the original series. I have more covers in the archives, and will also be looking at the 25th Anniversary special "Catfights and Caviar" in future posts.

JConthecover: Neue Welt (1987)

Today's magazine is one of the many German titles, Joan has appeared on over the years, called Neue Welt from November 1987.
Dynasty fans will know that the guy with her is James Healey, the actor who portrayed her last husband in the series, Sean Rowan.

Inside the magazine is a great 2 page article about the wedding episode.

I will be featuring more German magazines in future posts.

Dynasty Photos - Diahann Carroll

This B&W publicity photo from my collection is similar to that on today's magazine cover post.

JConthecover: The Boston Herald (1984)

It's back to 1984 for today's post, and a What's on magazine from The Boston Herald, featuring Diahann Carroll who joined the cast of Dynasty toward's the end of Season 4 as Dominique Deveraux on the cover with Joan.
Inside is an article about how the networks planned to outdo each other in the ratings war.
